Genioplasty (Mentoplasty) is a highly requested cosmetic surgical procedure, often performed alongside Orthognathic (Jaw) surgery, rhinoplasty, or as a standalone treatment. Procedure Details

Performed under general anesthesia. The surgeon makes an incision entirely on the inside of the lower lip (leaving absolutely no visible scar on the face). The bone of the chin is exposed and precisely cut (osteotomy) below the roots of the lower teeth. The freed bone segment is slid forward, backward, or centered to achieve the perfect aesthetic profile. It is then permanently secured in its new position using small titanium micro-plates and screws. The incision inside the mouth is closed with dissolvable stitches.
