CyberKnife is the world’s first and only fully robotic radiosurgery system. It is highly sought after by medical tourists seeking non-invasive treatments for complex brain tumors, spinal cord tumors, and acoustic neuromas. Unlike Gamma Knife, which requires a heavy metal frame to be screwed into the patient's skull to keep them perfectly still, CyberKnife is entirely frameless. Instead, a flexible robotic arm moves around the patient, firing high-dose radiation beams from thousands of different angles. Its advanced AI software continuously tracks the patient’s slight movements (even breathing) and adjusts the robotic arm instantly, ensuring the radiation destroys the tumor with sub-millimeter precision while leaving surrounding healthy nerves completely untouched.
Детали процедуры
Completely non-invasive outpatient procedure. Instead of a metal frame, the patient is fitted with a comfortable, custom-molded soft mesh face mask. A high-resolution CT and MRI scan plan the exact contours of the tumor. During treatment, the patient lies back on the treatment table listening to music. The CyberKnife robotic arm silently rotates around them, delivering targeted radiation doses. The treatment is completed in 1 to 5 short daily sessions (30 to 60 minutes each) with absolutely no pain, incisions, or anesthesia.
